Pros

Work from Home. Sales Team - With all the drama happening in product and engineering, the sales team is a rockstar who meet the numbers quarter over quarter. Hats off to them. In general , the people on an average are really good and helpful. Customer Access - You get customer access and are able to listen to what their pain points are easily which helps you in the engineering team to make sense of what is being built.

Cons

a. PM - Less said the better. Extremely arrogant leadership who have no idea about what is to be done. The more I interact with the PM team, the more I feel they have no clue on what is to be done in the next week leave alone next month/quarter/year. There is a constant musical chair going on in that team for god knows what reason. b. Engineering - After the CTO left, there was an opportunity for bringing in someone seasoned and lead the India engg. team but that never happened. Now, there is really no one to help take decisions keeping in mind the platform.

It is always good to get input. I am sorry that you have concerns. I do want to challenge your statement on the India team being 'a remote team.' That is simply not true. Our team in India IS our team. There are only a tiny number of technical staff anywhere else vs hundreds in India. We have an autonomous team structure that is specifically designed to bring empowerment to the team level. It is clear that you are not feeling a level of leadership that works for you. I am truly sorry about that. We are all imperfect and will surely work to do better -- again, thanks for the input. I also ask that you empower yourself and never let yourself feel like a 'remote' teammate.

Pros

A nice to play start a carrier and end a carrier. The reason behind the words is, any company has Pros and Cons but how an Employer is managing both is matters. Gainsight is very great company so far but slowly Favouritism and tenure employees domination started Salary increment is also reasonably good in the market but not for Greedy people though :-)

Cons

Gainsight is very great company so far but slowly Favouritism and tenure employees domination started.
