Pros

Pay; great people at the mid and lower levels.

Cons

Global leadership does not care about people. They have cut benefits while reporting record setting corporate growth. They berate local leadership while having no understanding of the US market, people are fired as punishment and to set an example even when they didn't deserve it. They use fear tactics and they have succeeded - everyone is afraid of losing their job and most are currently looking for new jobs or have already left this sinking ship (some without even having another job lined up) Individual annual review ratings are no longer individual. Ratings people can get are limited based on the total business performance. Even if you crush your goals and set records, you are not eligible for higher marks because the rest of the business did not achieve its goals.
