      Pros

      Let me think about that ..... yep, leaving. I don't want to sound bitter. Actually I'm not, but it was definitely my worst employer.

      Cons

      Family run still. Nepotism run a muck with unskilled management. Staffing week. More concerned with agency acquisitions to show quarterly growth than taking care of clients.

While we continue to acquire many other family run businesses, all Gallagher employees are held accountable for their performance. Taking great care of our clients has always been our top priority and we look for merger partners who share that focus.

      Pros

      Caring helpful employees who want to do a good job. Fair pay, Ability to work remotely Interesting clients. Some really good people.

      Cons

      No work life balance. On call 24/7. Need to work even if taking a vacation day. Evening and Weekend work a necessity and a full weekend off is s rarity. Overloaded with clients and no meaningful backend support to meet client demands. High stress levels among employees. Punitive environment leading to excess focus on CYA activities. Employees are not empowered to make decisions and own results Absolutely crummy expense reimbursement process. Either pay the Amex bill yourself or speed up the reimbursement process so your employees don't needy to underwrite your business expenses.
