Pros

Remote work is all they have going for them at this point.

Cons

-Dont be fooled. The "GB Family" does not exist. It's just company propaganda. -The claims system is antiquated and cumbersome. It takes 4 different systems just to make and document a reserve change. This makes training new hires almost impossible -The demand to comply with matrics starts when someone is hired and if they can't keep up, Supervisors are expected to do the work for their team even if there are existing overdue items -No internet reimbursement -Everything from emails to daily production is treated as an emergency. Everything is expected to be completed now. And when it's not, questions are asked why they haven't been done, even it's normal to receive between 150-200 PER DAY -Leadership has questionable ethics and seems to not understand what is going on at the field level -They only contribute to the 401k match at then end of the year. They do this so they don't have to pay employees that leave mid year

Pros

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. I was there for 6 years and I received awards and accolades my entire time; that is until management changed. They brought in a "bulldog from corporate" and people started dropping like flies, both account managers and producers. This "bulldog" started harassing myself and many of my colleagues, if you didn't fit in with the clique you weren't wanted. I was harassed and discriminated against until I was finally laid off (I refused to quit). They "did away with my position" but the funny thing is I was contacted by a recruiter two months later for my old position except they drastically reduced the salary. They do not care about their employees and once you are no longer valuable to them or they feel you make too much they will do whatever they can to get you out.

Cons

Management, work/life balance, unreasonable workload

Pros

Well known organization - so the name recognition is helpful. They also do a good job of leveraging research / data / trends as a sales tool.

Cons

There isn't enough white space to describe the PTSD from this job. Managers absolutely do NOT care to train or support you. Even if you don't come from the industry, you'll start getting emails within weeks of starting....on Saturday...asking about your pipeline, how many deals you're on track to close, etc. The environment is completely hostile, with producers who "walked past a company's HQ 4 years ago" claiming that lead to be their property and you will get a nasty-gram if you put in a cold call. This is a factory....cattle herding....completely awful. I'm literally scarred from this job.
