Pros

Most jobs are Monday-Fri, which is rare for a specialized retail setting

Cons

Awful raises (if any after years), once in a job/position, nowhere to advance unless someone quits, gets fired, or does, unless you get a traveling type position where you are never home. Everyone passes the buck when it comes to responsibility, and certain people are not replaced/fired due to favoritism or just plain laziness by management because they don't wanna train the replacement (who would be an upgrade). The company constantly gets bought out by new owners and shareholders, and each new owner is stingier than the last
