Poor Execution of Own Science

Business Outlook

Pros

1. Well researched science. Very strong in Financial Services, Hospitality and Retail. 2. Great Subject Matter experts (although but a handful remain). 3. Trusting Clients

Cons

1. Bad leadership behavior and decisions, particular among new people managers. 2. Strategy of Hiring Talent without Tenure, Relevant knowledge and Skill is a formula for "Fire", "Aim", "Ready" 3. Rewards poor performance - partial to those with good relationships with key leaders 4. Newbie Client Development Consultants are eroding the practice of science. They have little experience and are trusted with the task of advising the "C" Suite.

Pros

Worked with some Incredibly talented people who will be friends for life. The company also has global brand recognition and some great client partnerships.

Cons

Leadership is afraid of any criticism, preferring instead to have employees that repeat company tag lines by rote.  The culture of fear is apparent when things go wrong as leadership focuses on blame storming not brainstorming on how to fix it for the clients and project teams in the future. Processes are incredibly complex, unwieldy and slow as they don't seemed to have found basic technology solutions yet Finally basic compensation, poor benefits in the US and the required minimum working hours (2300) do not reflect the actions of a company that truly cares about it's employees.
