Great Peers, Flexible work environment, Not so great compensation
Pros
Highly motivated peers and most of them are committed to quality work getting delivered on time. I've been very fortunate to be surrounded by some of the best across the department.
Cons
The compensation offered is significantly below the market rate. Despite verbal assurances at the time of hiring that a performance evaluation would occur within 4-6 months, I have not received an official evaluation even after a year of employment. It appears that current market conditions are being used as a rationale for managers to disregard requests for evaluations, despite my strong performance and multiple recognitions from peers and management. My manager has repeatedly stated that the evaluation is "on their to-do list" for the past four months, but no action has been taken.
