Pros

Excellent benefits, nice facilities, overall a good place to work.

Cons

Some of the leadership are not to be trusted. Many questionable decisions. Even if you think you are doing a good job, and get good job ratings, they can make you feel uncomfortable and lacking job security - unless of course, you are a tenured professor.

Pros

Gannon University is a Catholic, Diocesan university dedicated to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service. Faculty and staff prepare students to be global citizens through programs grounded in the liberal arts and sciences and professional specializations. Due to the nature of higher education, Gannon does a good job at supporting employees through wellness initiatives and extra benefits.

Cons

While there are limited downsides to working for Gannon, the ones that do present themselves come along with working in higher education. Students are in class during the day, so often times, meetings, events, and engagement happens in the evening and over the weekend.
