Pros

Im very lucky to work with great people who are ultra supportive and respectful of one another. Very casual and diverse atmosphere. Benefits packages from health care to employee discount to PTO are generous.

Cons

Focus on development and how to advance is lacking. Compensation package is on the low side of the average. Very top heavy (Manager, Sr. Manager, Director, Sr. Director, etc.). Some middle/upper management folks are a bit too aggressive and inconsiderate. Employees who continually perform well are not recognized enough.

The Gap is a temporary job, not a career.

Pros

Extremely easy job to attain and keep. The hours you receive initially will improve based on your daily accomplishments and work ethics. Great job for those who are in college or recently graduated while career hunting.

Cons

There are not true benefits for part-time employees, except for the discounts that can be used at the brands stores nationwide.

Pros

This is a great part time job to hold if you are looking to improve your wardrobe. You get excellent discounts at Gap, Banana Republic and Old Navy

Cons

Low pay for boring work. Customers can be rude, there are out-of-control children every day, but I can now fold a t-shirt perfectly
