Pros

You are able to learn a lot, they really promote good teamwork, very flexible with a work life balance and can be fun.

Cons

They have very little good management, there is a limited ability to really move up unless you stay for a long period of time and the pay is below standard.

Ok, but you need to be self-going.

Pros

The consulting branch Gartner is a great place for strong individuals. If you are a person that requires close guidance and supervision, you might not feel good there. Gartner has a great market reputation when it comes to research. For consulting, the market recognition is somewhat limited.

Cons

As many other firms, Gartner is very number-driven. If you are achieving your sales and revenue targets, you will have no problems, but if not, you might soon have an issue.
