Pros

Truly believed in services offered, uncapped pay, benefits, global opportunity, strong training program, generous time off, good career ladder options

Cons

The Inside sales regions and from what I hear, most regions have turned from a genuine family feel to a very cut-throat turn and burn environment. The company has aggressive growth goals and it's changing the culture of the organization from when I started.

Pros

Many employees work from home and you have some control over your work schedule, so you need to be disciplined and self-motivated. Compensation is good but not top.

Cons

A lot of pressure to perform and focus on quotas. Employees are stack ranked yearly.

Pros

Awesome brand recognition, strong benefits, energetic corporate culture. Working at Gartner is a differentiator for growing your career, especially sales roles. You can take the experience and translate it to Sr Software, Hardware, Consulting sales roles that grant larger salaries and compensation packages.

Cons

Lower compensation compared to the market rates, especially for sales, top heavy management and middle management "special projects."
