Pros
I heard a ton of negative things before I started working at Gate but thought I would give it a shot. I have worked with some of the larger orginizations in the DC metro area and very few compare. Gate provides a positive work enviorment with a tremendous amount of opportunities for growth. Do you work hard? Yes, but it's not unreasonable at all! I have worked a number of places where they expect the unachievable and this not that type of an environment at all. Not to mention that the people that surround you everyday are all sharp dedicated professionals who know how to combine fun while driving for success on a daily basis. I'm sure it's not for everyone, but I am excited that I have had the chance to work at Gate Gourmet.
Cons
The benefits are not the best but certainly not the worst in the market. Although there is the opportunity to work from home at times it's not a virtual driven environment. When traveling to some great locations you never stray that far from the airport.
