Pros

-Free lunch once in a while (you will get sick of Costco pizza real quick)

Cons

-Lots of drama and very clicky -No room for advancement - Very negative environment - Very high turn around - Human resources is never to be found and not helpful at all -Dead end jobs with no advancements - Hiring process takes very long - Owners and some employees try to force "reglious" beliefs on you -Owners are hard to talk to one day they will say high and the next ten day you dont exist to them - If you dont have a degree from Marquette university you wont fit in with the office staff and wont get respect from the owners - Lot of managers for such a small company - More scrap products then good products come out of here - Machines are sitting empty and broken alot - Employees change there "rates" around to show they make rate all day

This review is like so many faceless comments on this site with a distorted view of the truth. The amount of drama in the business is directly related to employees like this. The comment about too many Costco lunches is an interesting complaint. Gauthier Biomedical offers many free lunches and activities throughout the year, and this year we offered additional lunches and paid time off to employees who chose to brave the blizzards and extreme cold to come to work. The owners are proud Marquette graduates and certainly have a connection with the university, but the vast majority of the over 100 employees are not MU grads. Additionally, any comment about too many managers shows this ex-employee clearly does not understand the structure of our business. Our model is one of the leanest and flattest organizations with a small number of managers. With this strategy, we have experienced exciting growth and continually seek new employees to fuel our expansion. We are a professional, medical device company and have been in business 19 years providing the highest quality surgical instruments to the US and the world. We have high expectations for employees working here in our new facility. It is apparent that this individual is confusing “religious beliefs” with the morals, ethics, respect and integrity that is expected of all employees of Gauthier Biomedical. It is a terrific culture, but a culture that may not fit certain individuals.

Pros

I absolutely love working here. Reading some of these comments below makes me laugh, I'm not sure we're working for the same company! The owners are very invested in each person working here, they meet and get to know everyone personally. Everyone is very professional, it is a very clean, climate-controlled shop, and there are so many fun things happening. I've found everyone to be hard working, helpful and kind. I truly love working here.

Cons

I have yet to come across a Con.
