Pros

I received the opportunity to interact and assist client's with their technology-based needs and concerns by not only leading consultation interactions with them but also by getting to repair their devices behind the scenes.

Cons

Often management from other store departments will not fully understand how Geek Squad is truly a differentiator between retail and information technology services. This plays out in the real world to create some pretty unusual and unpleasant situations at times.

Pros

A great job if its your only job, but you will not have any down time ever. You will constantly be checking returned devices to put them on the floor, setting up client's p.c.'s, and handling customers. The starting pay is good, but you definitely work for your money.

Cons

Odd shifts, inconsistent hours, and hectic work load.
