Pros

Good salary although salaries have dropped by 20 percent since they started Cheap cost of living in nanning, China. A dual degree program run with Staffordshire University so some accountability for students results Nice Chinese staff

Cons

Run by people (K.P/ E.K.C) who have no real concern for teachers other than them fulfilling their contractual duties Zero understanding of education other than the educational system itself and how best to exploit it for financial gain. Incredibly poor people skills (K.P) and propensity to micro-manage everything. Terrible accommodation in a hostel for teachers Pointless office hours that ensure you are onsite after your teaching is done for no reason other than to appease the Chinse estaff Very weak Chinese management and understaffed office staff The city itself is very boring and the university is in the poor end of town

Pros

You get to work in an international atmosphere, with other young people. It is a very dynamic job position and you are continuously getting new trainings for the new tools or new products. Also I was working in the Electronic Arts division which was the best of all.

Cons

You stay in front of the computer too many hours sitting and you only have a 30 minutes break and then 2 more of 15 minutes, which means it is less time if you count you have to start and put the computer in stand by. Then the rest of the time you cannot move from your chair and the phone.... When there is a new game release at the beginning the work load increases 300% and managers push you too hard.
