      Pros

      It really depends on what group you join. If you get on with a good group than it's a great place to work.

      Cons

      Sucks to be a contractor. There's a definitely a difference in how contractors are treated compared to permanent employees. If you're a contractor professional development is almost impossible unless you somehow take the initiative to instigate it yourself, but even that is difficult.
