Pros
At least in technical roles, everybody seems to know quite a lot, and you can learn a lot quickly. That's not to say everyone has to know everything, as my experience has been that more senior folks are generally willing to mentor/teach. You can't make it far on "BS" here; if you're gonna propose something, you better know what you're talking about, but it is also totally OK to say "I don't know" or "I need to understand that further." Compensation is generally solid, additional benefits are frankly top of the line in my opinion, but you are going to earn those paychecks. Not 60+ hours a week slavery, but you're definitely not going to be able to slack and be a "bottom of the pack" performer, at least in technical roles.
Cons
There is an emphasis on work life balance communicated all the way down from the most senior leadership, however in practice it can be very difficult to put into practice based on the site being consistently understaffed.
