      Pros

      Benefits, Beautiful Campus, and great products. It is well respected among others in the industry but not among many healthcare professionals because of a level of arrogance among its employees.

      Cons

      People are extremely arrogant. If you are an outsider good luck on advancing within the organization. It has nothing to do with gender but you are either in the club or not - despite being called an innovative organization

      Pros

      company produces nobel medicine that really save lives and I'm proud to be part of the company

      Cons

      tons of polotics, lots of butt kissing, employees are disconnected from their managers, lots of Associated directors and managers, so many layers and lots of hypes, the CEO he's only executing Roche commands.

      Pros

      A personal pride that comes with knowing you work for Genentech. The satisfaction of feeling like you can actually take part in rather senior level type of decisionmaking even if you are not at a senior level.

      Cons

      Officer level leadership treats employees like children, giving them virtually no input to the pedantic budget process or overall vision of the department. Sometimes I thought that the most senior management genuinely didn't understand technology. Even the simplest decisions like hiring mid-level staff have to go through extensive review at the VP level. Also, and the worst part -- senior management doesn't even know or care about the "bread and butter" services we provide, sometimes it's like these things are actively DISLIKED.
