Pros

Amazing benefits Wonderful compensation package Learning opportunities

Cons

They have bent the knee to the current administration, laying off all their DE&I employees across the U.S. and silencing them. Remove any mention of the word within the company; you can't even acknowledge that Black people are disproportionately affected by medical racism or are underrepresented in clinical trials. When I joined the company, I was proud because they were bold and openly supported increasing the number of people of color in senior leadership. Now, they have a watered-down version of their CDO, which is disheartening to see as the company's transformation. Hopefully, they can return to being progressive and bold, but for now, I don't even recognize them anymore.

Not a company it used to be

Pros

Company still attracts some great people and depending on who you work with, you may get job satisfaction you are looking for. Benefits are still good (used to be better).

Cons

Very poor leadership, company has lost its luster of science first organization. People are scared to speak up and leadership doesn't want to hear about their failures. A lot of great drug developers are no longer there. And company really doesn't care about the employees - one of the employee's spouse had terminal cancer and they terminated them with no health benefits. Not a company that values people. And fairly toxic culture.
