Absolutely best company I have worked for in a 15 year career as a software engineer. Pay is good, not great but the culture is beyond compare. People love working here, you can feel it. Yearly concert at AT&T park, a couple big happy hour celebrations a month, great work/life balance.

Cons

There are a lot of managers, the mid manager level is fat. Roche is a dark shadow over our eutopia. They haven't changed much since the hostile takeover, but they have slowly changed things, such as very poor yearly raises, we are talking 1-2% on average across orgs.
