Pros
You can easily live close by and avoid long commutes. They have a very difficult time attracting talent so it's possible to get hired into a job that is above your skill level. So this place can be a good stepping stone to advance your career.
Cons
Lots of turnover, it's embarrassing. Changed supervisor 4 times in 5 years. Once your on payroll don't expect your salary to keep up. Negotiate high start otherwise you'll soon be below and the only way is to find another job. No advancement opportunities, especially in technology. Don't fall for the profit sharing bonus in lieu of pay scam. If they have too many openings they boost the bonuses 12 months before they launch a big career fair then they brag about the payouts. Once they have the headcount quotas met the bonus disappear. HR isn't forthcoming about this.
