Pros

Awesome and supportive community, very encouraging of growth and learning. Managers check in often and create a collaborative environment rather than an authoritarian one. Great focus on the most state-of-the-art technologies and frameworks.

Cons

Can be difficult to get consistency in terms of job schedule; I was a full-time IA then moved to part-time and stayed on deck until there was need for full-time

Pros

I am teacher of their PT data science course, which is 23 lessons of 3 hours. Good atmosphere. Lots of students eager to learn, and often like to change careers, which gives the place an ambitious dynamic. I like working with my producer and teaching assistant. I love working with the students, and I learn a ton from teaching myself.

Cons

The lesson prep and student follow up is enormous. I teach 6 hrs/week, but I easily spend 20-30 hrs/week on the whole gig, on top of my own data science job. The are a lot of shared resources, but not ready-to go, or maybe I am just overly ambitious. It's worth it since I learn a lot, and I hope to stick around since most of the prep work has been done then.
