Pros

- 9/80 WLB is nice - Teams want you to succeed and if you become a SME in your area they will provide lot of opportunity for work

Cons

- Antiquated technology and mindset - Politics do happen within the company, individual teams look out for themselves - Its often where you get pidgeon-holed into a niche skillset and work and that is all you're stuck doing - Compensation is mediocre, it is often not competitive within the industry

Pros

Very easygoing and low stress. Every other weekend is a 3-day weekend which makes it great for making plans. Location is hard to beat.

Cons

Pay is mediocre as far as SWE goes. No signing bonus or any other forms of pay aside from PTO. Everything is old; don't expect to be able to use your favorite text editor.

Pros

The compensation packages are good.

Cons

The company is understaffed and suffers from high attrition due to unfavorable work/life balance. Remote work is minimal and frowned upon. Leadership is aging and not in touch with current employment/benefit expectations.
