Pros

Coworkers are great when they don't leave.

Cons

Company recently gave employees a raise to keep wages competitive (approx 10% if you're lucky), but those leaving are getting raises of 20% to 30% on average. So GA's definition of competitive is to stay "competitively" below the market. The attrition is insane. The work seems to be dwindling. Moral is in the mud. Very sad for a company that created the next gen catapults. GA lays off the loyal workers and seems to keep those who could care less.

Getting Better at Compensation but Needs a Culture Change

Pros

Allowing more remote work Increase in compensation Good Benefits Good People to work with Leading Edge Technology/Product Job Security

Cons

A slow sinking ship that will eventually fail if it doesn't adapt... Schedule driven, where unnecessary risk is added to meet schedule and quality of product suffers because the main goal is to deliver something, Integrity with customer is failing There is no money or time to improve processes or correct mistakes...so the same mistakes keep getting made. Alot of tribal knowledge that gets lost if the one working on something leaves the company. This is in every level of the company. If you are a good engineer/producer you will be swamped with work and there is not enough people for all the work. Teams/programs are in organized in silos and don't communicate with each other so mistakes happen alot or things get worked in duplicate or not at all. Culture is...if it ain't broke don't fix it but there is no continuous improvement. There are money saving and efficiency opportunities that are not take advantage of.
