      Work with the embedded hardware. Learn the core technology. Build a strong personal technique stack.

      Cons

      Less guidance so you have to find the resources yourself.

      It's ok! Really. It's not THAT bad!

      Pros

      Not perfect, but not terrible. PMs are treated well although no training is given and many PMs have no real experience in the role. They were officers in the military or promoted through nepotism/favoritsm, or from engineer ro, PM with no business acumen.

      Cons

      Oh those pros seem like cons. Welcome to ASI. We shrug off a lot of BS because most colleagues are really good, decent, funny people.
