      Developing software that make an impact

      Pros

      Company is concerned with the development of their SW engineers. If you are good you will advance pretty quickly. There is a technical and leadership path. Can move around the company. Some programs working on state-of-the-art AI systems.

      Cons

      Main UAV software code base is old C code. No work from home options (besides one day/week) as of 12/24/21.

      Pros

      - Good pay for the position - Health Benefits - Pension - 401k - School Repayment program - When you are home you are free to do as you please until your summoned

      Cons

      - Taking away flex worker incentives - Lack of appreciation for flex workers - People are not held accountable for their lack of work ethic - Deployments tend to have 5-7 month delays in-between - When you are home you do not work so you do not have an income. Yet you can't get another job because if you are called upon you must be ready to leave within 24 hours.
