Pros

Good way to be introduced to technical writing from a technician standpoint. Hours can be flexible and once you are an employee at GA, you can move around the company.

Cons

Upper management will micro-manage their employees and do not assume responsibility for their blunders. Very little upward mobility unless you are a yes man and higher ranked retired military, skills and knowledge not required. Training is non-existant and you will get multiple ways of doing things from various people in charge.

Pros

Industry-leading products, focused on the war fighter, business unit to larger company with diverse products and services, sometimes dynamic projects.

Cons

Communication is difficult, people don't return phone calls and ignore emails, treat other departments as competition instead of team mates
