Pros

Great perks and fringe benefits, medical and dental benefits, 9/80 workweek, flexible start time

Cons

Poor leadership and management skills, only 10% salary raise if you get promoted internally, promotion is very slow and biased. No open door policy, you won't see upper management involvement at all

General Atomics strives to keep as many doors open to our team as possible. That includes upper management, but sometimes we fall short. We appreciate your patience and feedback as we continue working to improve.

Pros

Good pay and benefits for the most part. Most staff are great people to be with. The tech is great.

Cons

Some staff are abusive to others and are not held accountable for it because they technically dont do it directly and therefore a super can not act on it legally they say or report it to hr. Inter-department communication suffers a great deal as the leads dont want to deal with each other. I felt depressed at my job there as I felt very unsupported by most people there. I am a big guy and this made me a contant target with a few people always pushing me around at work over my weight as I fit into the job over time. The stress that puts on a person caused me depression and loss of interest of the job and eventually mistakes on the job as well to the point that before I could reach out to management for help I had already on 3 seperate occasions failed to meet their expectations. I had tried to transfer but was denied because of a writeup that had to expire first. As much as I wanted to dedicated my life to this work some people and their egos just ruined mine instead. They understandingly ended my employment after 13 months.
