Pros

9/80 schedule, no real expectations from management for quality work, as long as the "paperwork/documentation/requirements are solid." Benefits/pension plan are ok.

Cons

Boring, not good experience. Outdated technology across the board. Stereotypical "government urgent" deadlines... Low pay, minimal raises and almost insulting bonuses.

Pros

Steady income, semi-flexible schedule, 9/80 work week

Cons

Mind numbing work in austere office environment. Massive turnover. 90% of department gone in two years. The company does not make an effort to keep talented people with decent compensation increases. Does not get rid of toxic individuals.
