Pros

Good pay, benefits, defined pension plan, vacation, etc.

Cons

There are limited advancement opportunities. Some managers want salaried staff to consistently work over 40 hours per week. Pockets of "old boy" network are visible. Telecommuting is not available for most staff members. 9/80 schedules are not available in all divisions.

Pros

9/80 and pension. Great people at work

Cons

The pay is a little stiff and will take advantage once you're in. You need to really network around know a lot of inside people to get around. Upper management is very impulsive and jumps the gun too often. A lot of non experienced people come into the company with larger pay than ones who really do work hard for it. See lots of lazy people take advantage of the system. Seen people sleep at their desk, watch YouTube all day, on their phone and long breaks hours at a time.
