Pros

The work is challenging and the research covers a lot of interesting areas.

Cons

Raises are always lower than inflation, so the real earnings decrease each year. No advancement opportunities.

Pros

Able to work with great technology. Up to date hardware in data centers. Provides training on items that you support.

Cons

Frequently pulled off projects to work on other projects. Put on so many projects it is difficult to complete them in a timely fashion.

Pros

One can take time off without pay to extend one's vacation time. On campus cafeteria serves good food. Campus is beautiful and well cared for.

Cons

In the middle of a heavy traffic corridor, so commutes are long. No lunch facilities nearby - only on campus cafeteria.
