Pros

They have a pension, although it was 7% of salary, that has changed to something unkown. There is some interesting work if you like Defense work and you're in hardware. Not a lot for software.

Cons

The work culture is terrible. It's a very rigid place to work. Forget working from home. They have enormous attrition, but unwilling to adapt to new work environment norms. The restrictions on software packages are so limiting it is hard to get your work done. They are slow to adapt to the times. Top heavy in management. Annual performance reviews are a joke. To help attrition, they give ice cream parties and awards while not addressing the flexible schedules and work from home policies that employees are requesting.

Pros

Many IRAD programs, many small diverse projects, benefits are good. If there is not work they put people on overhead for months. Free EV chargers. Company is willing to try anything to get their foot in the door on new business.

Cons

Rates are expensive, no long term project to plan multi years out, lay-off every two three years, pay raises less than 3% on avg for the last 6 years. Lots of turnover. 600 laid of in 2020, 160 laid off in 2021, 140 in 2022, at least that many leave for greener pastures. Lots of directors.
