Lots of cool and exciting projects Good Pay Good People Newer wave of management coming through which is more open 9/80 schedule is nice Trying to embrace some sort of hybrid WFH schedule post-covid

Cons

Lots of Red Tape Still a lot of legacy management who is scared of change Lack of direction at time Not a lot of clear goals for the organization Lack of flow-down at times

Pros

General Atomics has amazing products. Some Benefits

Cons

Leverage your network and learn all you can about HR from the inside. TA is largely an 'order taker' posture versus strategic partner, this shift occurred approx 2.5 years ago as HR services began to dictate offers and processes. Many large titles in the company with no authority in the business. Human Resources has some of the highest turn-over in the company. Employee Resource Groups were pulled from external websites and removed from public view. Pension appears to be eroding; before March 2021 7% non-contributory current is less than 1%. Merits and bonuses are reducing; recommend negotiating the highest salary possible when you receive an offer. Annual merit is 2-3% on average. ICP is "discretionary". Engineering groups, Energy, ASI, and EMS have been phenomenal; GA still has some of the most intelligent people in the industry building cutting-edge technology. However, the business executives need a serious review and change.

Pros

Encouragement of cross-training and skill set enhancement, organized work environment with accountable coworkers, opportunities for professional development.

Cons

The talent acquisition team gave me the wrong interview requirements when I was applying and they also miscommunicated the exact job title and expected salary during the offer stage.
