Pros

There really are some good people there in both management and the trades who love the company and want people to succeed. Seek them out and learn from them before they retire.

Cons

A lot of people aren't so good, and the pay isn't either. The union will go out of their way to make your life miserable as an engineer and make sure both your hands are tied behind your back--good luck getting anything done without getting chewed out by a steward for "stealing work".
