Benefits are great. Pay is great for a firefighter. Very rewarding job knowing you are keeping the men and women who build these ships safe

Cons

Can be very slow paced. Very monotonous at times. It is what you make of it. Very independent job. You don't work with fellow fire guards

Cons

Clash of Cultures between old and new Union vs Company mentality does no good Holding our breath for the upcoming contracts. A lot of internal politics.
