Quality ships Good place for your first year or 2 out of school.

Cons

Shocking to see rascist grafitti on buildings - ss symbols and more. Aggressive and uncooperative unions fight any efficiencies. So much is done manually that could easily be done in a 10th of the time or less electronically. This place is like something from the 50s. Why don't the engineers unionize? Clerks (unionized) get 7 weeks vacation while Engineers get 3. What's wrong with that picture? Little time off for the expectations - long hours, 24/7. Learned a lot my first 2 years - some good some bad.

Some of the best are the ppl here are vary nice the union backs you 100 percent and the pay is awesome I have got several friends in the door and the place is always expanding and looking for more help and there's tons of options in the work field and knowing that you are part of Navys battleships is awesome

Cons

Some of the cons is communication is vary weak in my opinion but it still gets the job done right.
