      Expect to work a lot for little.

      Cons

      They do not promote and the diversity here is pretty bad. Generally underpays even if you gain experience and the management is poor.

      Pros

      Job stability and if you want to coast for your annual 2-3% raise. SE CT is a great area to live in.

      Cons

      A frustrating place to work if you are a high performer, want to be challenged technically, or if you'll be bothered by the unaddressed incompetence all around. Almost half of new engineers are smart enough to leave within the first few years. The "best of the rest" get promoted to supervision with an inflated opinion of themselves. The best of my 5 bosses at EB was still worse than my worst boss in 15 years outside of EB. Someone on reddit said it well: "It's where the young give up and the old stay miserable and retire".
