      Very interesting work. Beautiful office in New London.

      Government contracting is slow moving work. Simple things quickly become harder than they need to be and overcomplicated.

      Pros

      The company takes care of you, and you get compensated when you work more than 40 hours a week. Great for the work life balance. A large company allows you to transfer jobs, or join the rotation program to gain experience. The professional rotation program can get you on to submarines to get some valuable supervisory experience early in your career. Overall, EB is a good place to work.

      Cons

      It's near impossible for someone to get fired for poor performance. Too many people get hired for too little work. If you're a young engineer, expect that, in most departments, you're not going to be challenged. There are some excellent supervisors and managers, but there are about as many bad ones. Unions.
