Pros

The job stability is the most positive thing about this Company. Being one of the largest defense contractors in the world, GDEB will never go away. The benifits are decent also, with a good retirement plan

Cons

Satelite offices are not and will never be anyplace but a dead end position, with zero oppurtunity for advancement unless you uproot and move your family. Annual pay adjustments are less than 2%

Pros

Once your in the company, you will have a job for life, if that is what you desire.

Cons

In design, once you reach Sr Design Specialist, there is not much you can advance to, unless you are interested in becoming a Supervisor. About 15 years ago they created another position above Sr Design Specialist called Design Tech, but they have made it impossible to achieve that category, especially if you are a woman.
