Pros
Ample PTO. 6% 401k Match Good experience as an engineer beginning their career. The wide breadth of Engineering Groups and Departments allow for internal transfers to continue growth within the company.
Cons
Annual merit raises are usually ~2 to 3 percent. Each supervisor is given a pot of money given their headcount and distributes this based on his/her discretion. There is an attrition problem at EB. More than 40% of all engineers at EB have less than 2 years of experience. That is a conservative estimate. Pay compression is a known issue. Corporate will correct from time to time, but it isn’t uncommon for a engineer with more experience to be making marginally more than the engineers that onboard a few years later. You will not get paid for the first 5 hours of OT as an engineer unless directed to work OT by management.
