      Learned a lot from SMEs and you are thrown into the fire

      Cons

      Management has no clue what they are doing. They don't value high-performers so they keep leaving and they just hire a bunch of noobs who don't have guidance. Lack of knowledge sharing

      Pros

      - Good managers/supervisors in the departments I was in (and worked with). Sounds like there has been some improvement there compared to the last 10 years. - Good mix of work products. - Good mix of employees at all levels - Onboarding program was also pretty good and continues to be improved. - Good amount of opportunities for career progression and development.

      Cons

      - Sometimes government contract schedules can cause overtime and urgent work (dependent on program needs). The exact nature of this is super dependent on what department and products you are working though. - Not a fault of the company but the surrounding area is a lacking nightlife and a social scene (especially for younger professionals interested in that kind of thing).
