Pros
(I worked here BEFORE 2013, but that was the earliest option for last employed years) Pay is good, but the guys you work with are great! General Dynamics takes care of its people when they are on the road by providing decent accommodations and/or hotels to make sure you are comfortable. Management is willing to work with you and make sure that you are taken care of. I had a great time working for GD, and would again if given the chance.
Cons
Travel to different job sites for around 10 months at a time. If you are married it is a long time away from the family. Corporate management is always looking over the shoulders of site management.
