Pros

Great people, great pay, benefits and pension, vacation time. Very interesting work across different departments. A good place to grow your career, if you can position yourself well. Future stability for some. I was very sad and shocked to go, would definitely go back.

Cons

Can be an 'old boys club', difficult to approach HR with concerns without repercussions, the little guy is often walked over and not listened to. Budget concern lead to the unnecessary mass layoff of many good people without much rhyme or reason or callback opportunity.

Pros

Company provides excellent medical/heath and 401K benefits.

Cons

No career development or opportunities for advancement. Constantly cut employees in the middle and lower levels without ever cutting executives. Laid-off employees do not get any severance and very little notice. Employees in 2013 were cut 5 days before Christmas without any severance. Company is instable and does not value employees. Lack of communication and high levels of secrecy among senior leadership. Work life balance in non-existent and atmosphere/culture is militant. All decisions are made to keep executive bonus.' Good-old-boy network is solidly in place.
