Pros

The products are good and help to save lives

Cons

Going downhill fast. Place is an absolute dump where the employees work but the area for Executives is really nice. The cubes, desks and chairs are from the early 80’s. Hybrid work and flexibility is gone because if upper management can’t see you, it means you aren’t working. Hard time retaining younger employees because of both of these reasons. Salary increases are below 3% across the board every year.

Pros

Medical benefits are solid People are great to work with Lots of camaraderie

Cons

Work life balance is nonexistent, most people work overtime almost all year, manager might email you out of the blue demanding anywhere between 10-20% overtime required immediately. Your life and family do not matter, the project deadlines and company profit margins do. They rarely ever have free food, there is no complimentary coffee. The company penny pinches extremely and where it can. The tuition reimbursement program pays out about $5500 per year, and then you are required to stay for two years after that. HR controls everything. It has been a revolving door for people under the age 30. There is a big age gap, 20-30 years between senior level and newer people. There are several layers of management that never made any sense to me. Most people seem very miserable, tired, unhappy, and burnt out, some people are happy to be there and have energy. Many managers have been divorced. Do not come here and expect work life balance.
