      Pros

      The section of GDLS I worked for seemed to be a growing department prior to the end the the Afghan war. Since that time there has been slow cutbacks at other sites then methodical cutbacks in higher paying departments, my department first, then whittled down to various sections and units of 17% numerous GDLS employees.

      Cons

      Stability of contract/position due to government contract funded and company can have no reason to lay employee/s off.
