GD Mission Systems is an excellent employer. Everyone works to help new employees to get up to speed and be successful in their role. The company offers remote work locations, where it makes since. Compensation is very competitive.

Cons

It does take more effort to connect with your peers due to the remote environment, but it's doable.

Steady work. Nice comfortable chairs. Usually no micro management. Access to some really neat technology. Large company with access to lots of equipment.

Cons

Boring at times. Depending on the job you may be working in a closed area where there is no windows and require to badge in. Management isn't always up to date with the latest technologies or pure management (e.g. - no technical skills). Usually lots of paperwork due to government/military work.
