Pros

In todays market, technicians are making much more hourly than my coworkers and I are currently but the benefits package is what the company prides themselves on.

Cons

The company seems to be trying to create a larger profit margin by continuing to replace retirees and making hiring techs on for current projects.

Pros

Company really "got it" when Covid hit, pivoting to a sensible work from home stance with lots of flexibility for hybrid/mixed work environments.

Cons

Recent staffing adjustments and corporate restructurings, especially with their decision to move back to waterfall development from their first (rather weak truthfully) attempt at Agile (GD is/was a practitioner of SAFe [Scaled Agile Framwork for Engineering]) have really made me question my decision as a relatively recent engineering graduate to join GD. Going "back to waterfall" from Agile does not sound like a career trajectory I want to be associated with.
