Worked tons of overtime for long periods of time with little to no recognition Management more worried about "plugging holes" in the company with people rather than trying to place people with jobs they are best suited for Very opaque management Poor work atmosphere

Pros

Pay is reasonable (benefits are mediocre), lots of equipment to work on. Some people are very highly skilled and working hard. If you like travel, there are lots of opportunities.

Cons

10% of technical staff are really sharp, the rest are taking up space. Management is asleep at the wheel. Upper management pays no attention to staff morale, and ignores the workers. It's nearly impossible to make an actual difference by doing a good job and going above and beyond.
