      - fair compensation, good benefits - structured environment - defined job roles - subsidized cafeteria on campus - flexible work week (can work 10 days in 9 and get every 2nd Friday off)

      Cons

      - difficult to move between departments - unionized environment - very old school - very difficult to implement change or get new ideas going - only 3 weeks vacation for management staff (typical is 4 weeks in Canada)

      Pros

      Fair pay, great benefits, 9/80 schedule, generous vacation time. Interesting work. Friendly coworkers. Nice atmosphere. 401k match and yearly contribution.

      Cons

      When a site is struggling, they have no idea how to turn things around or how to find a role or new work for the site. After failed attempts, they will shut it down.
