      Pros

      Flexibility work time. Better personal time off than in other places. Reasonable pay and benefits. Good IT. Many friendly folks. Capable engineers and service personal. Well organized HR, finance and benefit department.

      Cons

      Most management with business development background or from military, technically too weak to choose their technical advisers well. Too much politics. Intra-departmental fights. Careerism is not discouraged. Ad hoc top management decision making for reporting purposes. Weak project and product management.

      Excellent opportunities to contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the company if you care to get involved.

      Cons

      Very demanding work, challenging - but interesting. Most often work in excess of 50hrs weekly

      - Great people! - Good benefits - Supportive of continuous learning/training - Decent opportunities for career advancement - Multi- generational workforce (recent grads to retirees)

      Cons

      - 'Cash is king!'. The purse strings are tied, locked in a safe, and buried a mile underground. - The work environment needs improvement. A former warehouse converted to office space over the last 50 years. - A little behind the software technology curve. - Multi- generational workforce (recent grads to retirees) - Hierarchical organizational structure that appears to be seniority based (read age discrimination). Very, very, few higher level managers in there late 20s to early 30s.
